I took Friday off to brew a new batch of Wheat Straw Mushrooms. I started the barrel about 7am and it took a few hours to get to the correct temp. Pictures to come once i figure out how to add a bunch to this blog (tips please). I made 8 big bags of mushrooms. King Oyster (Pluerotus erygii) and Golden Oyster (Pluerotus Cornucoipiodes). I had a lot of fun getting this batch in place. I am hoping for a fruit in about 10 weeks?
I have these hanging like a cocoon ...
